A mask of rubber or plastic

What is a mask actually made of? The most beautiful masks are those where you are completely inside and truly unrecognisable. These masks are usually made of rubber or latex, are somewhat flexible and go completely over your head. You are then completely unrecognisable to the other costumed party-goers. Some masks even have a neck part so that even your neck is not visible; these masks are sometimes super scary, like the luxury Freddy Krueger mask or the pumpkin face mask. Another option is masks with a face covering at the front, attached with an elastic band; these are usually made of plastic.
